COMFORTABLE – EFFORTLESS – CONTEMPORARY – UNIQUE – DURABLE – PORTABLE – STACKABLE The Broad Deluxe Lounger is a combination of the wider Broad Deluxe Deckchair, but there is no need to add an extra footstool when you want to relax and put your feet up because it comes with its own in-build footrest.
It therefore needs be made to your particular approximate length of leg as the user of the chair and the design is always there ready to remind you to put your feet up when left on the deck unfolded. To work out what leg-length Bev should make your footrest, get a tape measure and measure from your thigh bone (that’s the big one at the widest part of your hip) or your sitting bones (they are ones you sit on) to your ankle. Shorter legs – 65cms Medium legs – 80 cms Longer legs – 95 cms
Let Bev know what length you are closest to and she will make it accordingly as there is some tolerance in these measurements. There is no difference in price. (Note that for the shorter legs, the chair does not fold up completely into a slim profile (but close) whereas the other two lengths do).
Fitter, more active or flexible folk step over the footrest side-brace, into the chair, then sit back and put for their feet up. Those of us who are a less inclined to step over something at knee height, just need to tilt the chair forward to enter so that the leg rest is tipped to ground height, step easily over the now low side-brace into the space, flick the chair back into position and then sit down.
Bev angles the foot braces so that one brace sits comfortably under the ankle while you rest the ball of your foot against the front angled one…. oh so comfy. And they fold up beautifully for easy storage or transport.
DESIGN FEATURES
- – NZ grown hardwood; Eucalyptus Saligna – soaked then wiped with Cabots Aquadeck Oil (waterbased) before assembly
- – Buyers are advised to continue to treat with oil each year if the collection is continually left out in strong sun or weather. This will assist in keeping the wood in condition to last 15 to 20 years.

- – EITHER PVC Polyester sling (i.e. Shadecloth) – UV, mould and tear resistant, 10-year warranty material, welded not stitched, easy to clean and dries fast
- – Six standard colours are available in this fabric: Black, Chocolate Brown, Forest Green, Slate Grey, Sapphire Blue and Desert Cream
- – OR Planosol 100% acrylic woven fabric – is rot resistant, UV protected to give a 7-year non-fade and repels water. The canvas sling is double stitched using a lifelong-guaranteed thread.

SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS At all times supervise small children around these chairs. The chair has moving parts, so keep small children off the adult chairs to avoid little jammed fingers or the chair flipping onto the child as they try to stand up.
